Human Figure

After creating a small wire figure of Liz in this pose, I had to make a much larger figure, out of any material we wanted.
I ended up creating a 5'4" life size replica of liz (with a few tweeks for good proportion). In this pose, it stands about 3 1/2 feet tall by 4 1/2 feet long.

I used wire, suran wrap, and tissue paper. I also added lights on the inside of it, so that it has a warm glowing fire effect. The lights really transform the structure! They add emphasis to the legs, and creates more contrast in the colors, and the clear seran wrap.
Some parts you can see the interior as well as exterior because of the clear wrap and you can see the wire structure too.
The feet and hands are the only elements that are just wire (the feet are actually both right feet too--oops!)

All in all this project took me about 30 hours to finish. I was so sick of it when it was finished, but now i'm really happy with how it turned out! Plus I got 100% which i'm pretty psyched out of my mind about!

Eventually I will put up more pictures to show a bit more of it in detail with close up and lights. I have to show it off because i'm really Freaking Proud of it! ((ps. Em named it Corrina))
