Printmaking Part 3 - Type Liar

These prints are my series of drypoint etchings in metal. We were required to make a diptic of something mechanical, or machine-like. I chose a typewriter. I applied paper to the plate when i printed it which allowed it to stick with glue, and the weight of the press. It started out being just about a typewriter, and all the aspects of it, but as I was working, I decided to make the project about the news. I hardly ever watch the news on TV because I feel they are constantly leaving so much out, and they only seem to tell the sad, upsetting things. So these prints are about the news, and how media today is contently censored by the government and various other people. We never really know if what we are reading, watching, or hearing is really the truth, or if everything is being covered up and hidden.

Please let me know if you're looking for a author for your blog. You have some really good posts and I think I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I'd love
to write some material for your blog in exchange for a link back to
mine. Please blast me an e-mail if interested.
Thank you!
