Little Emmy

This is a portrait of my sister Emily when is was only a wee tot. I think she is adorable! It is done in prismacolor colored pencils, and it 9"x9". (I am now adding dimentions because Em always thinks everything is huge.)
I drew this at work one night, yes I have the best job ever! (Thanks Dad). It first it wasn't working the way I wanted too, so to waste time I scribbled down color. It is now a happy accident as the scribbled look worked to my advantage for the textural quality. Then I tweeked it as I drew to make it become only a bit more detailed and realistic

Stop The Hate Poster

So Mercyhurst had a "Stop the Hate" poster contest. Liz gave me the idea, and I drew the whole thing out. The poster is 9"x11" and is black and white, as seen here. It is actually square, for some reason when I took the photograph the edges got crooked. Who knows. I am pretty proud of it, and Liz is psyched! I drew the hand myself which was modeled by a few different people, and I made the barcode too. Go ahead scan it!

...nope didn't win. Well Olivia Newton-John didn't think it should. However, everyone else in Egan thought it should.
better luck next time.

Emily The Potter

This is my Sister Emily. She is my subject for art ALOT. But I wanted to feature her with a picture of her and her beautiful mugs! She is in a potting class and I am super excited about the pottery that she is making. So, here you go, gaze at it's beauty!
